Default Audio/video syncing issues with Cox cable?

Does anyone have any experience with audio/video out-of-sync with each other, with Cox cable?

It happens when channels are compressed, then decompressed. It sucks. Call and complain.

No, I have Cox in the OKC market and have never seen that.

I have full digital cable, with all the available HD channels. It varies, but CBS-HD (channel 708) here in Las Vegas appears to be chronically out-of-sync with its audio/video

Do you have any friends or acquaintances that you can check with to see if they see the same thing on that channel(s)? Do you see the same thing on the SD feed? I suppose its possible its your set top box.
