Default Sound issue with one specific channel - help?

I use TWC in NYC Manhattan. Over the last couple of weeks, I ahve been having some sound issues only with channel 705, Fox HDTV. I notice it in particular when watching programs back on my DVR. The sound will come and go sporadically during a program. Sometimes it will be fine for 15 minutes straight, sometimes every 15-20 seconds the sound will go out for a moment. I've rebooted my SA8300HD a couple of times, and this does not seem to fix the problem.

Has anyone experienced this kind of issue, where the problem seems to be localized on one channel? I do not have this issue on my second DVR on my bedroom tv. So, it's not the channel itself. Any advice/help? We are hoping to not have to excahnge this box for a new one, as we really prefer this older version of the SA8300 box vs. the newer one in our bedroom.

Default Sound issue on SA8300HD cable box

I use the same DVR, but from Comcast. I have a similar problem when viewing HD channels whether live or recorded.
The problem seems to be with the HDMI cable interface from the DVR to the TV. If I listen to the audio on my sound system which gets the audio from a fiber optic cable, there is not problem.
I can fix the TV sound by tuning the DVR to an analog channel, listening to the audio for a few seconds and then going back to the HD source. These seems to straighten out the HDMI audio signal.

I have the same problem whether the sound is run through the televison or through the surround sound. I'm going to test out some of my shows on the SD channel of Fox and see if there is a difference. But, again, if anyone else has suggestions, it is always appreciated.

So, Fox on standard def works just fine. And Fox HD is the only channel that is having sound issues of my HD channels. Any suggestions from you smart folks on how to deal with this?

Hmmm, so maybe it's an issue with the cable company. Yes, we also watch Terminator and it was unbearable. Same with 24 and American Idol. Guess I'll give them a call.

I just spoke with TWC because i am going CRAZY. Many episodes of dollhouse and idol ruined. They said they are aware. AND - they are giving me a $11 refund. Make sure you CALL.

I contacted TWC as well and received a $10 credit. The CS rep I spoke to also said they are aware of the situation, but she had no idea when it would be fixed.
