Default Time Warner HDMI no audio URGENT

I have time warner and a scientic atlantic box. I have a HDMI cord I hooked up from the TV to the box. The HD comes in crystal clear but there is NO AUDIO, any suggestions?

Did you verify that audio was being sent over HDMI? In settings, look for Audio: Digital Out and make sure HDMI is selected.

Audio goes from the STB to the TV, so the audio settings would be on the STB.

How can anyone watch standard def?

If you havent fixed it yet turn your tv on and cable box on and go to the settings on your cable box, look for audio settings and enable hdmi setting for sound, I've had 2 Samsung cable boxes from Time Warner and had to do this as it wasn't automatic.
