SA 8300HD w/ HDMI Switch Removes DVR Capability
I have a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300HD and a Monoprice 2x1 Manual HDMI Switch (p.id 2786). When I run the HDMI cable from the cable box through the switch, the DVR functionality is removed. The guide and recorded programs list still works, but buttons such as play, pause, stop, FF, etc. do absolutely nothing.
Another issue I am having is a lag time when changing between HD stations. The screen will flicker for about 3 seconds before switching to the proper resolution. Any ideas? -Thanks! |
