Can't get enough HD

30 New HD channels Comcast
On the back of my bill it said I had a bunch of new HD channels but when i tried to go to one of the new channels it would go to one of the closest channel i already had. So I called Comcast and they sent a signal to my box and 5 minutes later i had all these channels. A buddy had to have Comcast do the same thing so just a heads up you have to do the same.
Tacoma/Seattle area got new HD channels here's the list: Encore HD Starz HD kids Starz HD Comedy Starz HD Edge Speed HD ESPN News HD WE HD Style HD E HD Bravo HD Lifetime HD Travel Channel HD Fox News HD Fox Business HD CNN HD CNBC HD TBS HD FX HD Cartoon Network HD Toon Disney HD Fuse HD TVone HD QVC HD G4 HD Bio HD Planet Green HD AMC HD Lifetime Movie Network HD IFC HD IN Demand PPV Events HD Last edited by zachjen; 12-31-2008 at 08:50 AM. Is this Comcast wide? Here in Boston I get some of those HD channels, but not others.

That would be an improvement over the current list in the Atlanta market. Unfortunately nobody here has any idea when we might see that list. Mostly notable among the missing here is SPEED.
Still waiting but not as patiently as before.

AMC HD . . .
What a joke that channel is. No OAR and most of the movies are not in HD. Maybe one of these days TCM will have an HD channel. I would love to see that. EDIT - AMC HD is showing First Blood in OAR - looks the same as my DVD upscaled.

Can it be, that Travel HD will soon be available in the Detroit area???
here is my wish list. Please, Zetts, God of the Cable companies, grant me these requests... Travel HD MLB HD NHL HD Thats all I ask for.... well maybe not. Thats all I ask from Comcast. |
