Default TWC High Def in Los Angeles

After two recent additions of HD channel blocks, those of us in Los Angeles are enjoying a wide variety of additional HD channels on TWC (it's about time). Although some of these channels are stinkers (e.g. Hallmark and the Lifetime Movie Network) all in all the additions have been very welcome. How does this line up compare with what others have, and are there any additional channels which you are aware might be coming down the road in the future?

Default Only in a few select areas....

You did not say what part of LA you live in....but that line up certainly does not apply to the West San Fernando Valley and most parts of LA...

Without going through the list the West Valley has about half of those you listed....

Default TWC high def

Melin, I live on the Westside.

Glennb, if you have DirectTV why are you posting on a cable board? Anyways, I checked out DirecTV and since I have six high def TV's in my home, cable is a far less expensive than DirecTV for the same content. Plus, the ondemand feature on cable is far superior to DirecTV.

I live in the Echo Park/Silverlake area and just got TWC HD programming this week. Good amount of channels, although I'm waiting patiently for Bravo HD to be available.

Good to know jgilbert...A similar line up is supposed to be in Chatsworth this month....We'll see..

And Glennb, you remind me of the really spoiled kid who thinks he just got a nicer bike than the kid next door...no offense but you really should stick to the satellite board...

wow jgilbert that is a lot of channels. I am in Santa Monica and I haven't gotten them yet. I only get about 18 (not including HBO, Showtime, movie channels)

I did look on the TWC page and supposedly SM is supposed to get a bunch this month. I hope its the list you have and hopefully they follow through soon.

All these HD channels have NOT arrived in Ventura County as of yet.

We'll see.

BTW, does anyone know on what channel TWC will carry the new MLB-TV Network beginning January 1st?

Default West Valley in LA Finally gets some additions..

On Wednesday we got all the channels that jgilbert listed in HD EXCEPT..WeatherChannel, Bio, Toon Disney, Cartoon, ESPNU, Speed Tennis, Lifetime, Hallmark, Movie Channel and those Eastern Feeds of HBO,Cinimax,Showtime and Starz...Those channels are supposed to added next year. I am not counting the two TeamHD Channles for the NBA and NHL subscription nor the HD In Demand Movies...which we have always received.

While TW has been the slowest Cable Company in the United States to add HD Channels it looks like they are finally getting the messege.
