new twc ny(queens) hd channels....Fx hd about time
I was looking at the twc site to see if any new channels are coming and there are a few.Does anyone know when will we get hd for usa/sc-fi in hd.
The previously announced launch of KCTV in Brooklyn/Queens has been postponed. Effective October 22nd in Brooklyn and Queens: We will provide additional channel positions for existing services, specifically: HBO HD will be added to 651, Cinemax HD to 658, Showtime HD to 666, TMC HD to 674, and Starz HD will be added to 676. In these areas we will also launch the following HD services: Cartoon Network HD on 722, FX HD on 737, and Speed HD on 774. In Brooklyn, Queens, and Mount Vernon we will also launch the following HD services: Big Ten Network HD on 472, CBS College Sports HD on 467, ESPNU HD on 793, and Tennis Channel HD on 465. Big Ten Network HD, CBS College Sports HD, and Tennis Channel HD will be a part of Sports Tier. We will also launch the following premium HD services: HBO2 HD on 652, HBO Signature HD on 653, HBO Family HD on 654, HBO Comedy HD on 655, HBO Zone HD on 656, HBO Latino HD on 657, More MAX HD on 659, Action MAX HD on 660, Thriller MAX HD on 661, WMAX HD on 662, @MAX HD on 663, Five Star MAX HD on 664, OuterMAX HD on 665, Showtime Showcase HD on 668, SHO Extreme HD on 669, TMC HD on 647, and TMC Xtra HD on 675. In Mount Vernon: We will temporarily provide additional channel positions for existing services, specifically: HBO HD will be added to 651, Cinemax HD 658, Showtime HD to 666, and Starz HD will be added to 676. We will launch the additional premium HD services: Showtime 2 HD on 667, Showtime Showcase on 668, Starz Edge HD on 677, Starz Kids & Family HD on 678, and Starz Comedy HD on 681. We will also launch the following HD services: Cartoon Network on 776, Discovery HD on 774, Fox Business News HD on 728, Fox News HD on 731, FX HD on 738, TLC HD on 751, Palladia HD on 727, Travel Channel HD on 763, Weather Channel HD on 736, ESPN News HD on 792, and NHL Network HD on 795. NHL Network HD will be a part of Sports Tier. |

I have Comcast just outside Seattle, Washington. That is the first I have heard about a cable company with so many premium HD channels. I have only confirmed dish having so many channels. I love to hear about new channels. I want all the movie channels in HD. If somebody else has them, maybe someday I will get them. Cross my fingers.

fx hd is now 737,but theres nothing on at the moment.hoping once morning hits that there is something on fx hd.

this is why time wc is a load of crap.whats the point off launching new hd channels if u can't view them,all the NEW hd channels(fxhd 737,cartoon hd 722,and all movie hd's 650-690) are blank all i get is a grey screen on both hd boxes which are a newer on and an older hd box.anyone else in the queens area having same problem.

My channels are still grey as well, TWC claims this is a Queens wide problem but one of my co-workers in Astoria claims to have the channels and they fucntion. I also don't have 699 or 700 on my channel guide and we should have that as well

I'm still missing these channels for some reason...no video on:
652 HBO 2 (No Data in channel guide) 653 HBO Signature HD 654 HBO Fam HD 722 Cartoon HD 737 FX HD 774 Speed HD 781 ESPNU HD No audio on HBO Zone HD Channels 699 and 700 do not even come up in my channel listing I'm going to check with Time Warner tomorrow, thanks for letting me know these are on in other parts of Queens so they don't try to feed me more lies |

Well I don't watch much FOX programming since most of it is pretty stupid but I did watch the World Series last night on it and it was definately in HD. Maybe they don't broadcast HD during certain times but the entire WS & playoffs were in 720p.
