How do I remove the ad banner on the bottom of the guide on Comcast ?!
They drive me crazy!!! I called customer service and they can't understand why I have such a problem with them. This after telling me that they can't remove them.
My problem with them is that they take away at least two rows of channels when searching the guide. I was hoping someone knew how to remove them. I used the search and came up empty as far as a remedy goes. Cheers, Mark Davie, FL |

You can't remove them, that's why I switched to satellite. Now I don't have to pay for that incessant advertising.

I just switched from Dish Network. The ad banner wasn't a deal breaker for me. I traded to have the MLB extra innings and On-demand for the ad banner which I'm ok with. That banner just irrates the hell out of me!!

Advertising is supposed to be how we pay for things without paying for things. If they are gonna force a banner on the customers than they should charge less.

Check the guide at exactly the top of the hour. For some reason the advertisments are gone for 30-60 seconds at the top of every hour on my box lol.
