I'm new to HDTV. I have purchased a Samsung HLP5674W and I am considering an upgrade to Comcast HD. I currently have the Digital service with internet. The total cost including HD will be $115/month.
What are the advantages/disadvantages of the satellite networks if I want the most HD service? (best bang for the buck) |

main advantage with cable is no upfront cost to buy equipment DN $549 and Directv $999 both charges for their HD DVR, if you mostly watch HDTV i would go with Cable since your local HDTV will be included in the package with DISH you need to install outdoor antenna to get channels (not very reliable depend how far u live from stations)
down side to cable is analog channels are very grainy (a non factor if u watch HD only), also less Pay perview sports available on Cable. |

Upgrading from Comcast digital cable to the HD version will only cost you $5/month more for the additional box rental. No charges for the HD content.
