DCT-3412 STB component setting?

If I use the component jack on my STB will it display 720P or upconvert to 1080I.

Did make sure you set the box to display at 1080i in setup. Then you should be find. Some of these boxes have 720P: 4:3 Stretch Mode - 1080i Depends on what you have there for settings?

componant will do 1080i as long as your box is set to 1080i.
