Default Cable TV Question

Hey,

I had a question about cable signals. I want to move where my tv is located in my room but my cable comes out of the wall at the other end of the room. If I lengthen my cable cord to reach the other end of the room will that affect my signal quality? I wanted to know if that will degrade it at all.

Thanks

even if you put a barrel to connect the cable, you only lost 1db. No problem. Go for it.
