Comcast HD Channel Lineup: Trenton, NJ (Mercer)

The HD channels available from Comcast in my area (Lawrenceville, NJ... I believe we are grouped with Trenton, NJ) seem to be lacking. As of right now we don't have any of the following:

Sci-Fi HD
Animal Planet HD
National Geographic HD
Discovery HD
USA HD
The History Channel HD
CNN HD
Food Network HD
HGTV HD
A&E HD

Does anyone know when Comcast plans on rolling out any of these channels in our area? Also, I see a lot of talk here about 750mhz, 1ghz, etc., capacity systems... how do you find out this information for your area?

I can see why Comcast isn't in a rush to add additional HD channels to our area... nobody seems to care.

Just becaue nobody knows when Comcast will up their HD lineup in your area doesn't mean nobody cares. Comcast holds this information like National Security depends on it. Just this week in the Chicago market, Comcast just added like 6-7 new HD channels without a peep. No message on the DVR, nothing. I was just flipping through the guide and noticed them. Why they wouldn't want to "bang the drums" so to speak when they add more HD, I'll never know.

Are you in the same system as I am (South Jersey, old Garden State system, Scientific Atlanta box)? I've e-mailed and called incessantly but to no avail. Hopefully others in our area are disgusted enough to do the same. We still don't even have the HGTV & Food Network HD channels which were launched on other Comcast systems on June 10. I think whoever is running our system here should be fired as they obviously have no interest in HD.

I don't know what system I'm on -- I am located in Lawrenceville, NJ (Princeton Junction area). I have one of the new Motorola HD boxes with the firewire/hdmi/ethernet port... Anyway, I am so dissatisfied with the lack of HD that I will likely be switching to DirecTV soon. Sorry Comcast, for half the $ I can get 3x the HD channels.... um but your HSI is still cool, I'll keep using that
