out of the couple forums I frequent, I've seen one guy post about having it. another has an appointment scheduled. Until the kinks are worked out, and you can get it without having to have a tech visit, it's going to be agonizingly slow.

That availability page always hangs for me so I can never see if it has hit my area yet.

I'm going to wait, at least until the writers' strike is over, before even considering the new service. We are simply not using the DVR at this point.

Most of the shows I watch aren't affected by the writer's strike (sports, A&E programming, Adult Swim, things like that) so my dvr keeps filling up and filling up. I just want to see it in action first.
