This is what Cox (OKC market) will have as far as HD channels are concerned effective this coming 20 November 2007. I think that is pretty typical from the posts I have seen.

This thread may be of passing interest...

Who is your Provider and what HD channel do you have?

As far as changing the hard drive out for a larger one it would probably violate terms of service, etc if the box belongs to RCN.

Some HD DVR boxes, like the SA 8300HD, allow you to add an external drive via a USB port. That feature is generally/probably firmware dependent which is provider dependent, ie. Cox has that enabled while another provider may not.

Hopefully someone with your provider and specific DVR can help further. You also might check with RCN or look at their support pages for guidance as far as adding an external drive is concerned.

Sorry no dirty jobs in HD! You have Discovery HD theater. Not the same. But on the plus side the channel rocks!

Default 25 Channels

25 channels is more than Comcast gives me. Think I have 15. Though they are adding more in December.

Why HDMI as opposed to component? Component will give just as good PQ has greater bandwidth/less loss, will send 1080 signal and is preferred by many.
