HDMI play by play missing on FSN Comcast

Last night I was watching the Astros on FSNHD on a new Vizio connected to a new Scientific Atlanta 4250HDC box with a HDMI cable. I didn't notice right away because all the crowd noise was there, umpires, crack of the bat, etc. But there was no play by play voice over. I switched to regular FSN and the play by play was there. Then I tried all of my other HD channels and there appeared to be no sound missing.

Anyone have a clue as to what's going on? I can only surmise it has something to do with the FSN audio feed that the HDMI cable will not pick up. I switched cables to a set of component cables I had handy and bingo, there was the sound.

I'm guessing it was a problem with the station and surround sound. Most likely nothing to do with your equipment - since you got sound on all the other channels.

I remember watching an episode of some drama series on NBC a couple of years ago, and all the dialogue was missing. You could hear cars going by, the background music track, but not a word from the actors.

Apparently someone had forgotten to throw a switch somewhere.

Thanks for the response - actually what I found out was they were broadcasting the Astros games in Spanish to the HD channel somehow and that particular night there was no Spanish feed. It took Comcast almost a week to figure out how to correct the problem that was isolated to a small number of homes.
