Default Comcast Motorola 6200 and Sony KDF XBR 950

So I took the advice of the comcast tech rep and exchanged the original 6200 with a new 6200 that was supposed to have DVI enabled. I connected the DVI cable to my tv and got a message saying " The HDCP Content of your display has been compromised, please use the component connection" what the hell does that mean? does it mean the dvi output on the cablebox is still disabled? I would use the component connection but i'm running out of inputs. Anyone ever experience this?
