Default Comcast SportsHD

Here in the Seattle area I got a message on the ol' STB Comcast is adding Comcast SportsHD to channel 665 on Jan 3rd. Anyone already have this channel? Is it any good?

I doubt that anyone in Seattle will get local Philly coverage. Here in Chicago area, we have Comcast Sportsnet Chicago, Bulls, Sox, Cubs, and some Blackhawks. Local and national college games that are in SD.

It is a new sports channel by Comcast that is going to show HD content from VS. and Golf Channel (both of which Comcast owns). Initially it will be mainly golf in the day and hockey at night with more sports added as time goes on (per the PR). It will be a replacement for InHD2 for the most part. It is not live yet.

Since I don't have ESPN2HD, UHD or MHD yet on Comcast, I could care less about this HD channel which is just a version of VS/Golf that i do not watch anyway. But, I'll probably get it before the other three!

I'm in NW IN, so I get the Chicago feed. I really like Comcast Sports Net. Lots of shows about the local teams, and all of the home games are in HD.

Yeah, it's not going to be Philly sports. Comcast has local "SportsNet" channels across the country. This is going to be a national one. I'm looking forward to it.

Default Chicago Comcast sports

It seems the feeds are from numerous sources so at times the event is in tru hi quality HD and at times it seems to be in low quality.
