Default My HDTV is colorless!

I just purchased an HDTV and wirelogic cables for reception and I hooked up the component cables to the tv and the only reception I get is black and white. The picture is definitely coming in high definition, but its in black and white and kinda fuzzy. I am using comcast digital cable and I have an HD box. Any help would be great, thanks.

you sure you have the blue and green in the right spots? the colors will be off if you don't have them in right. Also make sure you don't have the Redcable from the audio in the red cable for the component (if your component has the red and white on it).

If thats not the problem, than just really check everything else. Make sure the cables are really in securely.

I re-checked everything and the green all the colors are in the right spots. If I only have the green wire in the green slot on the TV, it does the same thing. Its like the green one is the only thing controlling the video, and its in black and white. I have the audio wires in the audio spots, and the video wires in the video spots. Its really confusing to me because I've hooked up this kind of stuff before.

My TV is a 50'' Panasonic plasma HDTV and I'm using the comcast cable box - HD8000 or something like that. I'm using WireLogic component cables.

Try cutting your box off and holding down the guide and info buttons on the front of the box. The HD setup wizard should come up. Set it for an HD TV. Most boxes come with them setup for SD if the box is new. At least everyone that I got.
