INHD2 gone here in Northern Indiana. Called Comcast. They said
INHD & INHD2 are combined. But if you go to INHD.Com INHD2
still has it's own schedule. Of course they have no plans to replace it.

Default INHD2 still on

It's 11:49 pm on 8-1-06 and here in Detroit, Mi. INHD2 is still on the cable 'Comcast'. There has been NO message about its fate.

I too would LOVE National Geographic HD. I think MHD would be very cool too. Out of the two, I'd probably pick NGCHD.

Could this have all been an excuse by Comcast to save bandwidth or something? Even when the rumors were abound, I don't remember the channel disappearing from any other companys' systems. Who knows - it's still on in NJ.

I only have a bit better than a month with the InHDs and I do not notice this at all. So combining the 2 into one channel hopefully means that the number of re-broadcasts are greatly reduced (I for one don't mind those, it gives me more flexibility to record stuff).

Exclamation INHD2 still on Cox in NW Ark

No indication by Cox that it will disappear. Evidence points to the distinct possibility that Comcast made the decision for their cable network for some set of reasons and put out misinformation about it no longer being available (or is that doublespeak?) - because if you subscribe to Comcast the statement is absolutely true.

In Richmond I'm stil getting INHD2 with Comcast. So even Comcast is not being specific. I'd be happy to give it up in order to get NGHD. I can't complain too much though since we did just get ESPN2.

INHD2 is still on Cox in Rhode Island this morning. As for wishes...I'd be happy if I could get Fox and CBS in HD. Football is coming, and we don't get the 2 major broadcasters of the NFL. Time to shop for a OTA box I guess.

I got a flyer from comcast in my last bill that said INHD2 would go away, but that we would gain MHD (MTV HD). I do not remember the effective date, I just remember thinking, I'd rather keep it how it is.
