Cable HD vs Satellite HD

Is there much difference between a Comcast high definition channel quality and a satellite high definition channel quality??

Look up HDLite. Many who have had a satellite service for a few years are complaining about the downgrading of the HD signal from 1920x1080i to 1280X1080i because of bandwidth issues. As far as I know and from what I've seen Comcast doesn't compress their HD signal that much.
