Default Sound quality question.

I recently switched from Comcast to DirecTV, but am finding that my sound quality is not as good. Has anyone else experienced this, or noticed an improvement when moving to Comcast from DirecTV?

I also posted over in DirecTV area. Still in window to bail out of Direct. Not sure what to do...

Thnks

SD or HD channels? The SD quality on DirecTV is bad, even for 480i/p standards. However, I think the Dolby Digital signal coming from the source is unchanged, it's already compressed so the quality should be the same from cable or DirecTV. The picture is another story.
