Default Can I record true HD on the TWC dvr?

hey everyone,
i'm an hd newbie so bear with me...

Im about to move to nyc and have looked all around for a building that would allow me to get directv so i could watch nfl sunday ticket,
thing is buildings that have directv access are stacked systems and I can't apparantely use a dvr with a stacked system...

so i've given up hope on that front

I'm gonna get twc (since most buildings offer that)
Here are my questions

1. The dvr box that twc provides...can it record in true HD like the directivo box from d*tv?

2. Do I have to use the box they provide or can I purchase my own(if the twc dvr cannot record in hd)?

3. If i can purchase my own, what companies offer dvr's that can allow you to record in true hd quality and what models/brands would you recommend.

4. Does tivo make a dvr that can record HD and play it back at the same quality as if it were live? Or do all tivo's and dvr's have that capability?

5. Does twc offer any sort of football package where I may be able to watch more nfl games than on just a normal cable subscription? I basically only want to watch the Buffalo Bills games, but my locals will probably broadcast the giants or jets games

Sorry for the barrage of questions, but I just purchased a new sammy hd tv , so I wanna make sure that I can record my hd programming and be able to play it back as if I were watching the hd programming live.

Thanks for bearing with me

i have TWC in Cincinnati & they offer a HD DVR box that records in true HD for a monthly charge. i have it & it is real nice.

unfortunately they dont have any football packages but they offer the other sports packages as i get the MLB extra innings & they have hoops, hockey & nascar also.

i dont know if theres any difference in twc cincy & twc in NY but i'd guess they are about the same. Good Luck!

I have TWC NYC and the HD-DVR and it workd great, recording in true HD, so no wirries on that front. As for Football packages, i'm not really sure, but I haven't seen any, but again, I'm not sure.
