Comcast/Motorola DVR external HDD?
Just got DVR service from Comcast with the pretty silver DVR box... Not sure of the model number, it either DCH3416 or DCH6416.
I'd like to see if it's possible to add an external harddrive on this thing. Especially when I'm recording HD stuff it looks like I'm gonna fill up REAL fast. Anyone able to do this? |

You can not add an external hard drive. Try to get a DCX3400. I have been told they are limited quantity, and limited locations. In time they will be everywhere. The new model has a 250 gig hard drive.
I have 2 boxes on the same TV. I use cardboard in front of the box to block the remote from operating both boxes at the same time. |
