What is HD?

I am unable to connect to my D-Link DIR-615 wireless router. When I attempt to display an Access Point I immediately receive an error message “Cannot find Access Point”. No apparent time is taken to search for an access point although page 54 of the manual states “it may take several seconds to search”
I have two other media devices successfully using the wireless router, both of which I installed myself. My TiVo box is immediately adjacent the BD-P3600 and receives a wireless signal perfectly. Access point for the TiVo is the same one I want to access for the BD-P3600
I confirm that the BD-P3600 setup menu is set to “Wireless” and that DHCP is set to “On” and “DNS” is set to auto. These are the same settings I use on the TiVo
Nonetheless I have checked the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties in my laptop’s Wireless Network Connection Properties and confirm that “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS Server address automatically” are both selected. Advanced settings show the IP address as “DHCP Enabled”
I also confirm that Samsung wireless LAN adaptor is installed at the rear of the BD-P3600. I have also read and followed “How To’ article “11945 How to set the network setup options” and viewed the video “11813 How to set up LAN to your product (Wireless Network)”. Both available at Samsung's web site
I would be most grateful if anybody can advise me how I may view my Access Point so that I may enter the WPA2PSK password and connect to my wireless network

I have connected Samsung players to my wireless network using a Linksys WGA600N ethernet to wireless adapter. If you have an ethernet to wireless adapter you are using with your router, it may be you can connect in that manner, enter the password and then try the Samsung supplied Wi-Fi solution. Does that one come with a USB Wi-Fi adapter or built-in Wi-Fi?
I will say I had to deal with a lot of frustration getting my household wireless system up with all devices connected properly but once I got it, it has worked great.
