Where is the Panasonic bd35 hack? Its been out now for half a year or more. I cannot take all the long advertisements on the DVD's these days and must have a hack to bypass and start the main menu within seconds of the long boot finishing. I guess im spoiled because of my normal Sony DVD player has been hacked since the very first week and I can bypass all FBI warnings and those anoying Disney DVD's with locked previews that last forever. I demand to have my hack (please) cannot take commercials! Willing to trade Philips DVD burner/HardDrive hack and unlimited storage plans.

I didn't know such a hack existed myself. I would also be VERY interested in this hack also, so if anyone has it, please post it here for many of us.
TIA!

You mean 10 times and at the right point between each preview so it doesn't say "function not available"?
![]() If there IS such a hack I would be very interested in this for ALL my BD players to have it automatically bypass the previews and just let me select them when "I" want to.

Problem is companies like Disney lockout the track advance or menu button so you have to watch the long winded often 15 minutes of previews and warnings. Personally I feel if they put so much advertisement on the disc then it should be free only those that have no advertisement or previews should cost money. Who hasnt put in an oldier disc only to have to wait through a preview of Gigli nearly losing my lunch in the process. In my Sony player which I hacked you can just hit the menu button and it goes right to the main menu no FBI warnings no nothing sweet bliss! |

Try watching Fox or Disney BD movies. Not watching BD is a lousy suggestion. You must love BD so much you just cannot see any flaws because you do not want to see them or admit to them I guess.

so much irony in the thread... ![]() I absolutely agree with PFC5. Imo these forced trailers and other b.s. are just a p.i.t.a. Was watching the Band of Brothers BD set last week. Every disc the same: endless warnings, HBO logos etc. until you finally come to the menu. I can sort of understand it on disc one. At disc five, i just want to throw my remote at the screen....

So everyone who has an issue should just scrap the thousands of dollars invested in BD instead of complaining about it and looking for a hack to resolve the issue?
![]() Some troubleshooting skills you have there then. We all come here to help each other FIND solutions to issues not to just tell people love it (as is) or leave it. ![]() Quote:
I never used resume much on SD DVD, but with BD it is even more important to have it, just so you can skip over this preview process if you have to stop the movie before watching all of it. Not to mention if the disc skips and you have to pull it out to clean it with only some mild fingerprints on it and have to go through this all over yet again. ![]() Bookmarks cannot be used until AFTER you get to the menus so this is no help to get past the previews in such cases either. IMO, they really need to either allow you to bypass the previews in how they encode the discs, or fix the resume feature (which is unlikely).

So that is how you "help" people?
![]() ![]() Good thing there are many more members here who actually want to HELP others rather than to just say "love it or leave it". ![]() Did I miss something you posted because that is all you basically said which provides ZERO help, so I wonder WHY you even bothered to post about this at all. ![]() Can you tell me how you think that saying "love it or leave it" is helpful?

So once again you provide NOTHING in your post.
![]() What is obvious? That your posts provide ZERO help? I already said that, but it is good you agree.

I know this doesn't help for passing the ads and such but it is the hack code to make your BMP 35 Region Free:

I did some searching yesterday and probably found the same things you guys already know.
You can get a chip to make the Panasonic players region free for DVD and Blu-Ray or you can get a remote hack to make just the DVD region free. The problem I have come across is that for each hack it says it is only for the (r2/B) European models. I can see a problem trying to watch a PAL disc, but I don't see why we still can't apply these hacks for multiregion blu and NTSC dvd's. Maybe I need to email one of the sellers.

Judging by YOUR response you KNOW you are contributing NOTHING to help people and just like to argue and cause trouble here.
As far as mental disabilities, how smart is it to post a remark like this to a mod?
