This is a new model and I have no experience first hand. I do have experience with several previous Sony models including the BDP-S350 and I expect the BDP-S360 to be excellent and very similar to the excellent BDP-S350. As far as everything you want it to do, I can't answer that, only you can. You might check features on the BDP-S560, Panasonic DMP-BD80 and LG BD390 for players with more features and see if the BDP-S360 misses some must have features for you. Built in wireless, YouTube streaming, analog outputs and a few other features not related to Blu-ray movie playback might be some examples of features you could want. My personal opinion is that Sony has been the best Blu-ray player manufacturer to date and with over 90% of players in service being one of the various Sony models, it is also safe to say it has been the most popular.

I think sticking with Panasonic or Sony BD players is the best and safest bet for anyone looking for a BD player and is pretty much all I would recommend at this time. I believe they are about equal with BD movie playback and with Panasonic being the better upscaler with SD DVDs.
