Default Best Blu ray for Westinghouse TV's

Right now I have a Westinghouse TX 42F430S and just got a brand new Panasonic BD 35 blu ray player and I keep getting U73 errors...did firmware upgrade, changed hdmi cable, made sure the hdmi cable was 1.3 ...contacted panasonic and westinghouse and both agreed it was a handshake issue...others have had this issue but I was just wondering what people have for blu ray players that are working at 1080p quality with westinghouse TV's?

Thanks!

Have you gotten a firmware update for the TV?

It may or may not be available so you have to call Westinghouse and ask for a level 2 tech to find out if or when they can make one available to fix HDMI handshake issues.

Also call Panasonic Level2 tech and find out about when they can get a firmware update to solve your HDMI handshake issue.

Good luck!

Maybe a dumb question. Are you sure your set a 1080p?

http://www.westinghousedigital.com/firmware.aspx

Here's where you can get firmware updates, they should have instructions on the website.
