Blu ray component or dvi for now!!
Heres my situation, i currently have a 40" sony xbr tube crt tv which has a dvi imput on the back.i will be upgrading my receiver to a denon avr-1909 and also adding a blu ray player and a set of speakers for 7.1 surround.
My goal is to get everything updated and buy myself a new flat panel plasma or lcd next year. So heres my questions 1. Can i run hdmi from blu ray to receiver and component from blu ray to tv this will give me my hd audio i'm looking for right. Or can i run hdmi to receiver and hdmi to dvi from receiver to tv this should work just the same, will i notice a difference in picture quality. 2. Do new blu ray players allow you to change picture size to full screen becoase my tv is currently 4:3 please any info would be appreciated |
