Best Buy and Sony Style stores are selling Sony BD101 players for around 300 or lower.

No Idea at all, I dont use the BD yet. Infact i am thinking og buying one too. So i am going to watch this thread for the answers, Lets see what things come up.

Why no PS3? That's the most future proof BD player out so far since it is profile upgradable. If you are getting a BD player that would probably be the best bet. BUT, if you insist not, the next best price wise would be the Sony BDP-S300, which can be had for the same $399.
