Blu ray vs hd dvd blu ray a winner

So, for your information, this is not an only Blu-Ray thread. Blu-Ray is far from being a winner in anything, but please keep dreaming O.K.

Super XP:

You need to show the common courtesy of being respectful of the format you are in. Ditto for BD fans going into the HD DVD player side. This WAS the reason they got separated.

IMO, it would be OK to just state the news ONCE so BD fans who only go into the BD player section (to avoid this kind of fighting), can KNOW it happened, but then leave it at that. THAT would be the respectful thing to do. I am sure you would have wanted the same courtesy if the reverse had happened.

No, you did not have a right nor a reason. I didn't come on here bad mouthing you guys. As a matter of fact, I really thought it was a neutral HD DVD/Blu-Ray thread. So I thought I present a few exclusive Blu-Ray titles which you can get for HD DVD via the UK.

Anyway, no harm done. Take Care,

This topic is about Blu-Ray players. So, don't wait your money on the 1.0's, then there is the 1.1 & 2's coming out in late 2008. 1.1 movies may not be compatable to 1.0 players according to DENON CTO.

So, in the mean time, buy a HD DVD player

Looks like you were wrong about the 1.1 players. Hey, no one's perfect.

LOL. The OP's post was one of the funniest statements I've read in a long time. I can't believe I missed reading this thread the first couple times around!

Thanks for reminding me. I just re-read it and that guy was so screwed up with his facts it was comical. At least he stated that the HD DVD player was set for 720p output which is wrong and the stores back then were setting the HD DVD players up wrong.
