Weeks trying to figure out how to connect. Manually adding addresses didn't work (wouldn't get past gateway ping). Auto setting didn't work (said IP address was wrong). Finally figured out to get BD-C6500 Samsung Player and D-Link DIR-615 to connect.
Go to D-Link internet connection site on your PC (put your IP address in your browser address bar) (login admin password blank). Click on wireless settings. Then click on add wireless device with WPS. Select AUTO. Select PBC. Before clicking on the connect button, turn on bluray player and go to Setup. Then System and select Initial Settings. Keep going thru the settings until you get to Network. Select the PBC (WPS) button. Once you click on that, then go back to your PC and say connect. Will take a minute, but it should connect. I've had to repeat this because sometimes my blu-ray does not save the settings, but once you do it, it only takes a couple minutes. It's better than throwing out the blu-ray player. |
