Default LOST season 1

Just picked this up today. Im a big fan of the show, and this is my first double dip BluRay (i own the DVD).

Already 3 episodes in, I'm really pleased with the PQ and AQ. LOST has never looked so nice. No need to explain the premis of the show.

I'v seen lots of the episodes on syndication in HD, so why buy it if i already own the DVD and there are no new special features? It looks that good.

Beware, there are no new special features compared to the DVD, but they are now widescreen. They are also SD only. There is a season watch feature that remembers where you are in the season. you can take the disc out and it knows!

PQ: 10. the best iv seen yet in HD (only my 11th title)
AQ: 8. some soft points that dont come through, then loud crashes
extras: 5. not much to it.

I just picked up both Season 1 & 2 on Blu-Ray yesterday. I haven't watched them yet (I actually don't even have a Blu-Ray player yet. I'm getting it on Monday ) but I can't wait to pop them in. Lost is the greatest thing to happen to television and I plan on own the rest of the series on Blu-Ray as they come out.

I allready have the first 2 seasons on DVD. I would like to get them on BD but i can't justify it at the price they are charging for them.

As someone who has watched the first half of the first episode then did something else once the adverts started, (I was far more into videogames when it first airred) is this going to be worth getting into? I quite fancy getting a few BD TV series, I've seen Season 1 for about £45.... not sure if I can justify such an outlay really... but I'm addicted to BD
