hi there...

It was good but they put way too many robots in the movie. Like i don't like how they put so many bad guys in the movie and then they die in just less than 5 minus or so.

I think I get what you're saying though. I think that if there were less humans, than they would have more time to explain which robots are which.

Point of order. 19% by critics. 54% by viewers. Critics are idiots who somehow get paid to try to tell people what they are supposed to like. I value a critics opinion almost as much as toilet paper. Not quite, but almost.

More telling is the money people are spending on this movie. Not as much as TDK, but a TON none the less.

The kids are spending money on it mostly because it is a very successful Hasbro product.

I you consider me and my wife "kids" I agree. I think it's more about people who are nostalgic for the 80's things they remember (guilty along with my wife) bringing their kids (we have 3) into something that never really died. It's great to be able to introduce my kids to what was a big part of my youth. Now my 6 yr old son is a die hard Transformers fan and my 10 yr old daughter likes Transformers as much as Barbie. In fact more in some cases.

I tend to think it's a combination of kids and younger families.

Just bought and watched it. All in all, I enjoyed the movie, but would someone tell me how the heck you can walk out the hanger door of the Air and Space Museum in Washington DC and end up in the middle of the desert???

I also had a hard time telling the good guys from the bad guys during the fights. I also thought it was funny that they were in the ancient city of Petra and acted like it was a new discovery.

I hope you meant, "used toilet paper", because I value "new" toilet paper a great deal!!!

For clarification, the National Air and Space now has 2 centers. The one in downtown Washington DC and the new one the Udvar-Hazy Center is actually south of Washington-Dulles in the middle of a field. The museum shown in the movie is not the downtown museum, it's the Udvar-Hazy Center. You can look it up on a map and see where it is. And surprisingly, there is a bit of a forest next to it. BUT, I don't think the bone yard is there.

Unfortunately, I've gotta agree with the review. I've tried watching this for the past two nights, and both times I've fallen asleep only to wake up at the end. I actually liked the first movie, it was a well rounded popcorn flick IMO, but this one is just missing something. Yeah, it has Megan Fox, some robots and pop culture colloquialisms, but that's about it.

You need to turn the volume up then.. I don't know how one could fall asleep watching this movie.. The Audio, as well as, PQ is insane..

The PQ and AQ alone do not make a movie. I felt the same way about the first Transformers, which is why I own neither one. To me personally the content of the movie is just as important as the PQ, AQ, and supplements.

Since this is a HI-DEF forum, it does.. Isn't it the point of Hi-def to have amazing PQ and AQ???

The content, it's robots blowing shi$$$ up, how much more content you want?? If one wants deep down content, go read a book..

This movie did what is was suppose to do, offer mindless entertainment for a few hours.. Nothing more, nothing less..

For what it's worth I thought it looked great, my sound set-up is non existent, but from what everyone says the audio is just as good. I just couldn't get into it, and I tried. I finally finished watching it last night and I still feel the same way, a long lead up to a climax that was pretty much "meh", and a denouement that made me feel like I don't even care about the next installment. I own the first one, and I love mindless fun, but there just wasn't much to keep me interested in this one.

Picture how much better this movie would have been with James Cameron directing it instead of Michael Bay though.

We likely could have had it all including decent story/dialog along with Robots blowing everything up.
