Blu-Ray Movie Review Format-READ BEFORE POSTING A REVIEW PLEASE

Nothing wrong with personal opinions, and they are welcome here as the members know already.

The problem is when you go into the threads of reviews you KNOW you will not like because you do not like the style of the poster/reviewer, and then complain about how that person does the review. That would be considered trolling since it is not to discuss the reviewed material but posting just for raising the temperature of the thread.

As I said before. If you do not like a reviewers style just do not read the thread. Pretty simple way to avoid turning multiple threads into flaming threads, which most do not want.

I personally like a much shorter synopsis rather than a full detailed analysis of the movie in a review myself. I just want a taste of what the movie is about and then I will decide if I want to buy/rent the movie. I would rather discuss the movie detail itself outside of where the review thread.

It is easy to criticize how someone else writes, and then say you "could do it", but it doesn't interest you to do it.

I am sick of the trolling in the threads for movie reviews and if you don't like a posters reviews DON'T READ THEM PERIOD! Trolling IS against the rules and is not allowed here.

Really? I know you have dsskid's irrelevant clipping -- and the only reason I don't reply to him any longer (a member who clearly stated he put me on ignore yet continues to enter my threads and chop away at my character any chance he gets) was because I'm taking the high road and attitude of, well, if I wanted to hear from an a-hole I would have farted (same as I'm doing with inconsiderate trolls like Darren too) -- but the Quantum Of Solace thread isn't the issue here. Let's break this down succinctly:

YOU say I would have been banned a long time ago -- and for what? Defending myself? You say the beef with me is about something that you don't even follow up with after that -- you go into a snide remark about being banned from other sites and then add a laugh graphic (very effective).

The most important thing here, though, is the fact that on the top of this thread, you clearly and blatantly attack me by claiming my reviews are "essays" or whatever ridiculous word you used at that brief moment of mis-aligned self worth, and then your little cheerleading team gets behind you and cries "He got his journalism degree from Ebay!" -- which I have already been told from administration is clear and blatant violation of the rules here because it's personal bashing to say nothing of the fact that it is absolutely not true or even remotely accurate -- and STILL you feel I was the one who started with YOU...it is absolutely and utterly amazing how disillusioned you really are. You, Darren, Burn...you all throw the stones and know how to piss on people but we've yet to see a genuine thorough review from any of you.

THEN...you go ahead and make an asinine statement in response to what I said about your commentary: You couldn't even address the CURRENT fight that we're in now -- you claimed "Oh, Peter, you can do no wrong!" when that wasn't even the issue we were talking about -- I NEVER said I wasn't wrong about ANYTHING in this thread -- I merely responded to what I thought was a RUDE comment by you BEFORE I EVEN POSTED IN HERE, and you snapped back with "Oh, you do no wrong, correct?" or whatever your rhetoric was...I said it before and I will say it again: That comment was absolutely uncalled for and YOU started it with that kind of remark.

Don't waste any more of your time trying to convince these members that it's really disrespectful to constantly criticize and, for honest lack of a better term here, "poke fun at," work that the members who review complete; I've done it even in private and it doesn't work.

You saw the evolution of THIS VERY THREAD in which the reviews I post were called "essays" and flamed just for their length, and no matter HOW MANY TIMES you tell people this behavior is cruel and unacceptable, it continues happening... I merely DEFENDED myself against that personal attack by saying it was rude and uncalled for, and then a gang of replies by members we still have problems with get posted attacking MY defense of my stance...I didn't in any way, shape or form throw the first stone here.

I absolutely 100 percent agree with your policy of the trolling and attacks in the review section of the forum -- please continue policing this along with Dick and Rb.

That's what I was thinking as well. I don't harass the guy I just don't like his "pity me and help me they are gang raping me attitude." Peter automatically goes on the defensive if someone doesn't agree with him and heaven forbid if you don't agree with him.

Maybe there is a way PFC can limit his posting to the BD review section.

Everyone else that I speak to privately from the site and a group of others see this and understand it; it's completely unnecessary bashing every time I throw a thread up -- Goofnut comes out of his cave, along with mainly awol and "Darren" and IMMEDIATELY begin either making fun of my name, education status, the length of my Blu-ray reviews...the list is infinite.

I've put most of these troublemakers on "ignore" and only replied to your comment because it came up as someone not on that list -- thanks for the backup!

Thats the thing before i started reading yours i ustoo just make it a quick one. Now I try to go a bit longer. Writing, and spelling is'nt my strong suit. I fixed the size on font. Never realized how big it was.
