I've had Denon for awhile, so it was an interesting change, and I dont hear any harshness to the sound.

If Im still happy next week, ill prob sell the Marantz and keep this 809, its got a good bit more power than the Marantz does. All probably overkill with my speakers, but I like to listen to movies loud, so more power wont hurt
I don't even have an amp and I rattle the walls. Then again I have a powerful sub and receiver.

Yepp, I imagine this 809 will push my Klipsch just fine with 135watts, and the VTF15 is a beast, which is how I knew something was wrong.

You know I really feel sorry for the guy if his actual attitude is like that. He'd stink as a boss, coworker, friend, or just as a human being in general.
GLOW and elwaylite like this.

I agree. I have to be honest I was waiting a long time to see Prometheus. I saw it On Imax, yes visually stunning, but kind of a let down for me as far as answers I was hoping to achieve. The commercials or trailers for Prometheus basically lay the entire story right in front of you. I have one question??? What Alien are we viewing when watching the old Alien Films? Is the Alien a cross breed between Our "Makers" DNA and the species that infected them? Is it a make up of modern day human DNA, our "makers" DNA, and the species that destroyed our makers, all mixed as one? THe movie was a little slow, very predictable, and for me just kind of a let down. It remined me of a version of "Ancient Aliens" on H2. just my opinion.. Too many unanswered questions........

The sequel has already been green lit so hopefully we will see answers to those questions.
