LG Super Blu Problems

Guys, it’s been a while since I have been on the forum but I could really use some help.

I have an LG SuperBlu player, had the dilemma like a lot of us of having a bunch of HD-DVDs and also wanting to buy more Blue-Ray.
I don't use the player that often for Blue-Ray, once a month. I tried to load a Blue-Ray disk the other night and it reads it but in every chapter it starts to play and after about 3 seconds locks up. Sometimes I can stop/start and it will allow me to advance the chapters but doesn't play at all. Here is the weird thing; it plays normal DVDs and HD DVD no problem at all.

Is this a software problem (upgrade needed) or something else?

I am assuming this is the LG BH200, not the BH100, and new firmware might have addressed the issue but without knowing the Blu-ray title or the player model number, I don't have a better guess.
