No HDMI connection on 811 or 942

I'm a current Directv customer considering a move to Dish. I just discovered that the Dish 811 nor 942 directly accept a HDMI.

Has any other Dish customer faced this problem AND was there a loss of HD picture quality going from an HDMI to an HDMI w/DVI adapter?

Next, other than HD DVR, does the 942 provide superior HD quality over the 811?

The statement to include the 942 is incorrect.The 942 has HDMI output.Problem solved. :D

How much better it is than components is determined by the particular display you have. Try both for best results.
