PC to TV Audio / Video Problem

I am trying to run Audio & Video from my PC and play it over my HDTV. I have a Samsung LNT4071F & a GeForce GTX 275 Graphics card (Two DVI & 1 S-Video Outputs). I am able to successfully run through my S-Video Cable and Audio Cables (Belkin F8V235-12 12-Foot Y Audio Cable) into my Television. I can see the display and hear the audio when I am on my TV's S-Video Input. However I want to do this Using my DVI outputs and not S-Video. I have a Cable to go from DVI computer out to HDMI input on my TV. I also have a DVI to HDMI converter & an HDMI cable if that would be better. I can get Video this way on my HDMI 1 input perfectly. But when I try to plug in my Audio Cables from comp to the DVI In Audio section, I don't get anything.

Below is a image of the back of my TV's connections. I've had success with the Light Blue Areas for both, Audio & Video. Successful Video on the Red, but I cant get Audio.... I don't have a long enough cable to test the Yellow Section, but maybe that is the correct answer? Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated, thank you.

From what I read, you are running a seperate audio cable from your computer to the TV's HDMI-DVI audio (RCA red and white) correct?
Is this strait from the video cards output (3.5 green connection)? If not, how? If so, are you using a 3.5 to RCA converter/cable?
You may want to see in your TV's audio or HDMI setting if you need to "activate" the audio portion with the HDMI. But usually it is automatic.
The Yellow section is for VGA. The audio portion will not work unless you are on the TV's VGA/PC input. So you will also need a VGA cable. May be your option if you can't get the HDM I to work. VGA is a much better solution than S-Video, so I would use that if you can't get the HDMI going. But it should work.

Thanks for some input.

Yes I am running a separate "3.5 to RCA cable" but it is from my motherboard's integrated audio to my TV. In case it matters, here (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188046) is Motherboard. At least I think I have the correct cable, here (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000067RBT/ref=ox_ya_oh_product) is a link to the cable I bought.

It works on my S Video Input slot, and that works "automatic" and I don't have to setup anything. I tried to find a way to "turn on" the HDMI audio but I didn't see anything.

Since the cable/connection works fine withe the S-Video analog audio input on the TV, that rules the cable and computer out. It is something with the analog audio input associated with the HDMI/DVI input on the TV. If there is no setting to activate it in the audio settings or HDMi-video menu, I am not sure.. Perhaps check the manual and see if you have not already or give Samsung a jingle. And at least you have VGA as a good option if you can't figure it out. Or you can just connect a set of speakers to your computer and use them. I assume you don't have a SS system you can go through.?...

Good luck..

From looking at the manual, it seems to me as though you are doing everything right. I'd get in touch with Samsung and ask what's up. The audio to the left of the HDMI 1 input should just work according to what I read.
