8x dvd+r dl discsgameguru1360 08-02-2009, 10:47 PM does anyone have any problems playing 8x dvd+r dual layer dvds?? I've been thinking about burning some movies onto 8x dvd+r DL as the regular dvd-r and +r run without a hitch but it's that compression that usually kills quality I have an HD-A3 running firmware v4.0 Loves2Watch 08-02-2009, 11:41 PM I use and have been using Verbatim 8x 8.5 GB DVD+R DL for several years without any problems. I've mostly been using the 4.7gb single layer dvd-r's or dvd+r's. I heard there were a lot of issues when using the dual layers for video, some brands also having issues when burning data.
