Can I diplex an ota antenna with a pre-amp and a dish pro plus lnb? I know I can diplex just the antenna but my question is, is the pre-amp going to cause problems with the antenna or the sat signal? If no problem, then once inside, do I put the combined line into the power injector or just the antenna line after diplexing back into two?

When using a preamp the amplifier receives a DC voltage from the supplied power insertor in your house. Also satellite receivers send DC voltages up the coax to control switches and LNBs. Don't think you can mix the DC voltages and expect equipment to sort it out. Also you can't use DC blocks because they would defeat the purpose.
I recommend separate coax lines for TV antenna versus satellite dishes.

Or feed the ant signal through without amplification. Many times an amp will give you more noise with marginal signal gain.
If you are in a fringe reception area for locals, I would put up 'more metal' rather than bother with an amp.
