Word about HD...

I'm sorry to start bitching right after joining, but I just have to :D

I was looking for HD (mainly just 720p) music videos and finally found link to this forum, which has awesome amount of them. But looking further I noticed that many videos that users advertise as HD are either some really retarded resolution (1000x556, wut?) or encoded to straight shit.
While your video may be of 1280x720 resolution, if you encode it to fit within 50-70 MB it sure as hell can't be categorized as High Definition. Of course videos need to be converted before uploading them, but could you ate least do it in a way to preserve the quality? And if you say that you don't have drive capacity or fast enough internet connection, then what are you doing in HD forum in the first place?

^^ What he said. I was a bit disappointed after seeing all those threads having HD in the thread title, yet after downloading, many of them are SD TVRips. What gives? There's no need to lie, if a video is good enough, people will download it if there are no HD versions available yet.
