Swapping standard box for HD

I already have an HD feed in the living room via a VIP 211 box and now I've got another 211 box on the way that I plan to swap out an old 301 (standard def) receiver in another room. My question is whether or not I'm going to need some wiring work done. In other words, is it possible that both standard def and HD signals could already be routed to all rooms in the house to where I just have to swap the boxes out? Is this standard install practice? Note that I have two dishes up on the roof.

If both current receivers are hooked up to the same dish or switch, no you will not need to have new wiring done. If something is added to line going to your current 211, then you will need something done. Look at check switch results and see if both receivers have the same setup.

Plug it up, turn it on, and let it down load software.

Call dish to activate and you are ready to go.
