Formula 1 won't be real HD unless Dish buys Bernie Ecclestone's feed which they are not currently, and probably won't in the near future. The HD Formula 1 races are a premium PPV or season subscription in most of the world. Speed Channel utilizes the pool SD feed for the races, qualification, and practice. When the broadcast networks in the US had some races on in the last couple years we did get a few in HD and they were great quality. Brawn Is Awesome! And I'm a Ferrari owner and true Tifosi for three decades. BTW- To everybody: Always try the online chat tech support before you ever call Dish. It will keep you from hating Dish. I think that starts at the "Classic Silver 200" package and up for The Speed Channel. Did it take longer online than on the phone to get a wrong answer? They just kept saying it was coming later. delyan 05-15-2009, 10:35 AM I called Dish rep once to ask for a channel that I don't see, she told me to check back in 1 week, but I can hear that she was giggling in the background with her friend. I assume she was trying to go home or whatever the reason was. Basically, they have no customer service at all, zero! So, anyways, I call back in a few hours and I talk to a different Dish rep, this time she was nice and she said right away and I had the missing channel in the same second. So, I don't know about you, but I have Dish while trying not to communicate with them if possible. Strange combination, but their management does not care about customer service. It cannot hurt anything, so might as well give it a shot~ :yippee: Just open the front of your DVR (on the 622 its the panel on the right side of the face) and press & hold in the power button for a count of 12-15 (at least 10-12 seconds) then release it. Then give it about another 5-10 minutes to power up & go through it's boot-up sequence. Hopefully, when you are back up, you will see the missing chanels. This is an email response I just received yesterday from DN: "We appreciate your email. At this time we don't currently have additional information to relay regarding the access of newly acquired HD channels such as FX and Speed to our Turbo customers.
