HD Sports Guide.com is reporting that some MLB games are going to be presented in HD for MLB Extra Innings subscribers using DirecTV. The subscribers have apparently been receiving automated messages concerning this.

Looks like we Dish subscribers are sucking hind tit as usual :)

I think MLB Extra Innings is about $150 for the season. I had it last year, but I prefer MLB.TV on the computer for $49. Now, if Dish had some HD games other than ESPNHD I would sign up again this year. I think night baseball games look stunning in HDTV.........

NFL games in HD on DTV are down to 49.00 plus 199.00 for the SD package. Yea it is only money. The MLB games in HD are free for this year. This is one of the reasons I sent back to DTV from Dish. Charlie, get with it.
