AP associated Press said today that Michael E. Neuman was appointed President and cheif operating officer of EchoStar
Communications Corp..

Neuman comes from Bell Canada Enterprises unit Bell Mobility,where
he served as President.

He is filling Michael Dugan's spot -Dugan retired from Echo Star in 2004.
