calibration disc

Just purchased Samsung PN50A650 plasma. After 200 hours I want to calibrate it using a disc. When reading info on calibrating, most tell readers to use Bluray player. I do not have a Bluray player. Just wondering, can I use a DVD player that is not Bluray?

OF course you can. You did post this in the HD DVD forum so do you have a HD DVD player or a regular DVD player?

See if you still have a buzzing sound then. Most TVs don't use 3-prong... As owners. especially those who have had your 800 calibrated do you agree?....Note i own a 9year old sony DVD player, i just ordered a new 1080p.... The new panasonic Bluray Home theater player is even better..
