I have Cablecard HDTV in Brooklyn

I'm the 1st or the 2nd person in the borough to receive it; the tech supervisor wasn't sure. I'm using a brand new Sony KD34XBR960, with a Cablevision feed. There are 13 HD stations to choose from. Picture quality is awesome, on INHD, PBS, ESPN, MSGHD, & FSNYHD. The other HD channels are plain excellent, as are ALL the non HD channels. Great TV, & reception. Only drawbacks are minor; no SAP, because it's only available through an analog signal. Can't access PPV, or games, etc. The TV info button doesn't show as much as the cable box. I have a 30" Loewe Aventos in the bedroom, hooked into a SA 4200HD box, with a DVI. Picture quality is almost as good. Both really are incredible. Live baseball, seems to be the best quality picture. Can't wait for football & hockey.

Same situation in Detroit suburb. Comcast came today and installe cablecard. I get all analog and HD. At first they isisted on me paying for digital tier but recanted as I pushed back. (Cablecard is nessisary to block my neighbors VOD.)
