Do the online features still work for HD DVDs?

I have been slowly building my HD DVD collection and a few have online features in the menus. But I don't have my player connected to my home network. I have upgraded my firmware by downloading onto disc the updates, not thru the network connection. Is it worth it to do so? Do the online features still work with these HD DVDs?

I haven't tried the online features in a while. I will try to later on and give you an answer. Any HD DVD in particular that you want to know about?

That's difficult to predict but I would say buy 'em while you can get 'em.

Make sure you shop around though. Amazon has many HD DVDs for less than $10 and the same can be said with DeepDiscount.
