To be honest... I would go for the BenQ MP522 ST. It's only $100 bucks more, yea? But you get a 1024x768 resolution to it compared to the 800x600 that comes with the 512. Both run on the same platform. They're both DLP. Both can do 4:3 or 16:9 ratios, and they're both around 2000 lumens, which is more than enough.

My buddy teaches at a school and works with the MP522 ST. He loves it and it seems like a great projector. I've been to his classroom quite a few times; the projector is quiet, small, and quite mobile, and does not require a long distance to project its image!

My friend told me the good thing about the MP522 ST is that it comes with great warranty, customer service, low maintenance cost, and projects great colors. He tells me that he sneaks the projector home from time to time and uses it with his Wii, which I've experienced before too! Awesome color and brightness!!! Highly recommended!
