Toshiba 34hf85 any info?xfletch 06-03-2005, 11:43 AM I just ordered the 34HF85. I wanted to get the 34HF84, but there were only display models available, so I went with the 85. Should have it in a week. Does any one have it yet? Or have any info on the 85 series? I heard about the 27 and 30" models being built overseas, but I can't find any info about where the 34" models are being made. I just hope Toshiba is still making those in the USA. If anyone knows, please post. I saw some of the Sonys had better consumer report ratings but the Toshiba had the only 34 inch that would fit in my really nice cabinet. I compared data sheets between the 34hf84 and 85 data sheets and the only thing that bothered about the 85 was that it only had 10 watts of speaker power vs 20 for the 84. As I can still cancel the order (from Sears) does anyone know of anything really bad about these sets?? (I hope not I'm really pumped about getting my first HDTV :yippee: ) steveallen 07-10-2005, 12:04 AM Hope yours is better than the 26HF85 I bought.
